Since the reign of Peter the Great, sailing the waterways of Russia was a regular feature of the lives of the Romanovs.  The Imperial yacht Standart, of Nicholas II, was so elegant and so well appointed that she was the envy of every monarch in Europe.

We will be offering three ways to cruise on the Volga Dream in 2011:

Our Waterways of the Tsars program includes hotel stays in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Exeter small group touring in each city with Exeter guides along with a six night cruise on the Volga Dream that includes all shore excursions. Please note that while on board the Volga Dream touring will be with other Volga Dream guests.

We are also offering a Simply Volga Dream program where all accommodations are on board the Volga Dream even while docked in Moscow and St. Petersburg and the touring program in these cities is not as comprehensive. All touring throughout the Simply Volga Dream programs is provided by the Volga Dream and is with other Volga Dream guests.
